Perspective

The tray load DVD ROM is accessible from the front of the carputer. It is obvious from this picture that the case used to be a Sun external drive case

The rear panel of the carputer has the connections for the peripherals. The DB-9 in the upper left corner is a harness for the Head Unit Display, IR Remote, and Audio Output. The power connector is just left of center.

A closeup of the Hard Drive and DC/DC Power Supply. The Hard Drive is mounted on an aluminum bracket that is attached to the case with a foam dampening separator.

Closeup of the DVD ROM drive. Notice the intake fan (left side of DVD ROM) and the exhaust fan (right side of DVD ROM) that keep the CPU and other components cool.
